‘Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another’. This is one of the most underestimated statements of all time. It comes from Proverbs 27:17. Whether you are spiritually inclined or not, this concept can enhance your life beyond measure. Last night, I was feeling a bit flat after a big day at work however had to go straight from work to one of our Monday business sessions. Before the session started I had planned to catch up with one of my team to make some calls and lock in some appointments. I didn’t feel like it. I was sitting in a bit of complacency and a bit of fear. The guy I was with started belting out his calls and talking positive affirmations and within 5 minutes I was into it and booking appointments. There is something special about the power of association. Author Napoleon Hill puts a huge amount of emphasis on “The Mastermind”. A group of people with a definite chief aim. A common purpose. Iron sharpers iron. Surround yourself with good people. Ambitious people who make you stretch and grow. That I believe has been one of the main keys to us staying focused and progressing this past few years!
